About Construct 11

Construct 11, a building where the surviving population of the final global war have come to live.  The Leadership that emerged from the war created the perfect structure for the survivors to be safe from poverty, sickness and starvation.
Locked behind the walls of Construct 11 for their safety, the survivors thrived.  Four generations have been born within the walls with everything they have ever needed provided for them.
Now the true cost of their perfect society is being realized.  Will they be able to hold their community together or will the knowledge of the truth unravel the fabric of their existence?

I first thought about this story early last year.  I had read an article about these businesses in China that house their workers.  On the lower floors, the workers performed the duties required for their jobs.  Above those levels, there was a large cafeteria and some entertainment.  Above that, were apartments for the workers to live in.  There was no need for the workers to ever leave the facility.  Commute time would be non-existent, nobody would be late because of weather or whatnot and the workers didn't have to worry about rent or purchasing food.  A win-win, right?
The problem was, since the workers never left the building, they were suicidal.  The company had to erect nets that would catch the people as they jumped from the roof.
I'm not positive if this is a real situation in China or if the article was an internet hoax.  But it got me thinking.  I could see it be some executive's wonderful decision to keep productivity up.  I began wondering what it would be like to live in this kind of building.  Then, I wondered what it would be like several generations later, if nobody ever left the building.  How would you get people to stay in this situation?
  Viola.  One storyline.
